Overview
This incubator is designated for Encode participants of past or present programmes, as well as others who would like to become a part of our community.
Transform your project into a startup through our structured incubator programme. We provide weekly workshops, individualised sessions, and comprehensive support in technical development, design, product testing, and fundraising. Under the guidance of mentors and industry-leading investors, our aim is to ensure your post-incubator transition to full-time operations and facilitate successful fundraising.

The events take place virtually so the incubator is accessible to teams all over the globe.

We host weekly workshops and one-on-one sessions with Dymension and Encode team over the 8-week incubator.

We aim for projects which have one of the following focus areas, but are not restricted to:
1) Agent Chains
Agent Chains are blockchain-based primitives uniting communities with a utility-driven AI agent for on-chain governance and revenue-sharing, leveraging AI capabilities to make decisions about on-chain processes and vice versa, informing the AI’s behaviour through on-chain data and governance while also allowing the agent’s skills to evolve and expand over time.
Building your own Agent Chain on Dymension similar to how Desmos was built is straightforward:
Create a RollApp – Launch a RollApp on Dymension to serve as the foundation for your Agent Chain.
Install an AI Oracle – Set up your AI oracle using roller (soon) so that AI results can be verified on-chain. For now, you can do it manually by following Dymension’s AI-Agent blueprint.
Create Your Skills – Equip your agent with various capabilities (e.g., marketing, trading, gaming) and promote a gov proposal for this skill to be approved by the community. An example of a jailbreak game skill can be found here.
Fine-Tune Everything – Using governance adjust skill parameters and revenue-sharing options to align with your vision.
2) DeFi
Dymension RollApps have integrated oracles that enable developers to build DeFi applications. This category includes applications such as perpetual exchanges and alike. Building your own DeFi RollApp on Dymension is straightforward:
Create a RollApp – Launch a RollApp on Dymension to serve as the foundation for your DeFi application.
Install a DeFi Oracle – Set up your DeFi oracle using roller as well as a random number generator.
3) SocialFi
Launch social-related applications that utilize Dymension’s speed, scalability, and seamless UX (e.g., signless transactions, near-instant transfers).
SocialFi should aim to onboard existing and aspiring influencers. SocialFi applications will be judged based on their marketing and application performance.

Once the incubator concludes, teams will be ready to launch a pre-sale token via Dymension’s IRO platform.
Royalties: Teams will receive 50% of trading volume in royalties along with the above stated grants.

Base Grant (Months 1–2 pre-launch):
$2,000/month in DYM equivalent for the first 2 months.
Base Grant Increase (Months 3–5 post-launch):
$5,000/month in DYM equivalent for the next 3 months (if the RollApp is approved and is live).
Additional Performance-Based Incentives:
Higher grants awarded based on TV and token trading volume.
After Month 5, the incentives are exclusively performance-based.
Curriculum

Kickoff Call
Introduction of Dymension team, Encode team, and participating projects.
Overview of the Dymension ecosystem, tools, and resources.
Acceptance Grant
Teams that have been accepted will begin to receive $2,000 in DYM per month for two months via the onchain endorsements program. This step requires the registration of the team’s information on the Dymension L1 blockchain.
Workshop #1
Walkthrough how to register the application for grants.
Workshop #2
Walkthrough of setting up a Dymension L2 (RollApp) for testnet.

Mentorship Sessions (one-on-one with each project):
Finalising technical architecture with Dymension’s team input.
Refining marketing pitch and business plan with Encode’s guidance. Each week teams will go on a 1 on 1 call with the Dymension team for marketing support and strategy.
Workshop #3
Deploying your smart contracts to your RollApp.

Development Sprint #1:
Implementing smart contract and front-end integrations.
Integrating signless transactions (via Dymension Connect).
Midpoint Check-In (end of week 4):
Short progress demos for feedback from mentors and Dymension.
Workshop #4:
Guidance on integrating Dymension Connect into the user’s application.

Development Sprint #2:
Conducting QA testing, bug fixes, and user testing.
Launching a testnet RollApp hosting the user’s application
Workshop #5:
Best practices for deploying and running RollApps in a production environment.

Launch Preparation
Deploying final features and optimising performance.
Marketing & Community Sessions
Dymension and Encode will advise on marketing best practices, social strategy, token launch preparations.

Demo Day
Each team will present their product to broader community, partners, and potential investors.
Each team will receive final approval for product viability and continued grant support.
Post-Incubator Handover
Teams prepare for pre-sale token launch via Dymension’s IRO platform.
If teams meet the criteria of deployable production application, teams will begin to receive increased launch grants ($5,000 in DYM for three months) upon launch.
